The Background Story

Question: Sophie, can you tell us a bit about your background and what inspired you to launch The Feminine Edge? How has your journey unfolded here in the UK?

My journey into entrepreneurship has always been driven by creativity and a desire to carve my own path. I started out in branding and marketing before co-founding a food business with my sister here in the UK. We grew it to seven figures, worked with some of the biggest retailers, and on paper, everything looked like a dream. But behind the scenes, I was navigating new motherhood, the grief of losing my mother to cancer, and the relentless pressure to grow, scale, and succeed.

It was a perfect storm. I hit burnout – not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I had built a life that looked successful from the outside, but on the inside, I felt completely disconnected. That’s when I discovered breathwork. After a deeply destabilising experience with an investor that shattered my confidence, breathwork became my turning point. It was like therapy without words, helping me move through years of internalised shame, self-doubt, and overthinking.

I trained in over 400 hours of somatic and trauma-informed breathwork, all while raising a toddler, holding space for my mother, and running a business. It was intense, but it showed me what’s possible when we lead ourselves from within. When female leaders around me began to open up about their own struggles with burnout, self-worth, and visibility, The Feminine Edge was born – a movement that bridges deep inner healing with visionary leadership.

Between Inner Peace & Ambition

Question: Your approach blends feminine energy with empowerment. How do women in London respond, and what are they seeking when they come to you?

Women are waking up to the truth that force and burnout aren’t badges of honour. They’re ready for a new way to lead – one that feels powerful, pleasurable, and rooted in self-trust.

When women come to me, they’re often exhausted from chasing success in a way that disconnects them from themselves. What they’re truly craving is space. Space to breathe, to feel, to remember who they are beneath the pressure. My approach helps them drop the armour, soften into their truth, and rise in a way that feels both fierce and feminine.

They want inner peace, but not at the cost of their ambition. The Feminine Edge approach shows they can have it all.

This is about leadership that starts from the inside out. The kind that magnetises impact, wealth, and recognition without self-abandonment. When a woman steps into that version of herself, the results are undeniable – and deeply sustainable.

Success Across Borders

Question: You also work with clients in the Middle East. How do you tailor your services across regions while staying true to your philosophy?

Cross-cultural work is an invitation to meet each woman in the truth of her own story — not to interpret, but to witness. I meet my clients exactly where they are – with curiosity, not assumption. Working in the Middle East has taught me so much about humility, presence, and the importance of context. Many of the women I support are navigating powerful inner growth while also holding family, cultural, and societal expectations that are incredibly layered.

My role is not to project a Western narrative of empowerment, but to hold space for their version of success, rooted in their values, heritage, and desires. For some, that means redefining leadership within a family structure. For others, it’s launching a business with boundaries in place from day one. I’ve found that my ability to listen without judgment and coach without bias opens the door to breakthroughs that feel both expansive and safe.

Whether I’m working in the UK or the Middle East, the philosophy remains the same. Your power lives within you. My job is to help you access it on your terms.

Unfolding that Inner Truth

Question: What mindset shifts have you seen in your London-based clients around confidence, careers, and growth?

The transformations I’ve witnessed have been extraordinary. I’ve supported women to move from silence to global stages, from self-doubt to building teams and businesses that honour both their ambition and their wellbeing.

Many of my clients arrive with impressive credentials; they’re already successful by traditional standards. But they’re hiding. Hiding behind strategies, titles, or performance because deep down, they’re afraid of being seen in their full truth. Through our work, they start to trust their voice, regulate their nervous system, and reclaim visibility on their own terms.

They’ve gone on to lead international movements, balance motherhood and business with genuine ease, heal long-held trauma, improve their health, and step into levels of abundance that feel both joyful and sustainable.

This work isn’t about playing small. It’s about expanding into all of who you are, unapologetically.

That Visionary Package

Question: How does the fast-paced, ambitious London environment shape the kind of support your clients need?

The pace of modern life, especially in cities like London, asks women to be everything at once – visionary, grounded, intuitive, productive. It’s exhilarating, but it can be overwhelming without the right support.

That’s why my containers are intentionally high-touch. Clients don’t just meet with me once a fortnight. They have access to real-time coaching through Telegram, bespoke practices like breathwork and subconscious rewiring, and tailored resources that meet them in the moment.

For women operating at a high level of influence, navigating fast-paced careers and constant demands, I offer The Visionary Package — a bespoke experience designed for just three female leaders per year. This is for those ready for rapid, deep, and fully personalised transformation. It includes a private 1:1 retreat, custom audio and breathwork tools, and tailored integration support designed around your energy, your rhythm, and your ambition. Whether you’re holding space for hundreds or leading with quiet impact, this level of support meets you exactly where you are and walks with you into your next evolution — without compromising your wellbeing, presence, or power.

The Wisdom Behind

Question: What have you learned from working across cultures that enhances your coaching in the UK?

Working across cultures has made me a better coach, leader, and human. It’s taught me that everyone carries unseen stories, and when we lead with empathy and curiosity, we create space for transformation that transcends borders.

In the UK, I now see how much internalised pressure women carry; whether it’s from generational expectations, societal norms, or unspoken cultural rules. My global experience has shown me how healing it is to be held in a space where difference is not just accepted but honoured.

I lead with an open mind, a soft heart, and a strong nervous system. And I’ve learned that true coaching doesn’t come from knowing more. It comes from seeing deeper.

Keep the Power, Lose the Burn-out

Question: For women looking to step into their power without burning out, what’s one Feminine Edge principle they should embrace today?

Start from within. Your power isn’t something you need to chase. It’s already in you – under the fear, under the pressure, under the need to prove yourself.

Most women are running on old patterns. Beliefs that say “I have to do more,” “I need to be perfect,” or “I can’t slow down or I’ll lose it all.” That’s the programming that leads to burnout. When we change that at the root; through your body, your breath, your beliefs; you reclaim your power from the inside out.

When you do, everything shifts. You magnetise opportunities. You speak with clarity. You move with ease. You lead with presence. You make more money by being more of you.

If there’s one thing I want every woman to know — it’s that she doesn’t have to choose between success and self. She gets to have both.
